SoundExchange, the non-profit entity that collects and distributes a new kind of digital performance royalty for the usage of sound recordings, will be making some changes to its accounting practices, going from a quarterly to a monthly royalty payout.
This is good news for most artists and labels, as more frequent payments are a big help when piecing together a living from multiple music revenue streams.
