The App only lives on one of your pages. It won’t affect the others. I am admin for 5 Facebook pages, and I’ve never had issues. It might just be that the wording is confusing.

The hitch I’ve found is customers aren’t told about any discounts for buying more than one CD on the Music Store app. Since the widget that already exists DOES, I can’t help wonder why…

Am still working the my store. Thanks cdbaby and facebook team.

I think in the cdbaby app where it showed a listing of all your facebook pages, it was asking you to choose one of the radio buttons (choose only one page).

I think this is the greatest invention since Edison invented the record machine.

Hello. Thank you for this wonderful widget. How do we allow them to preview OR download the whole song if they LIKE the artist?

    Thanks.

Do you mean an exchange? Like, a “like” for a download? We don’t currently have that feature in the app, but you can always allow folks to download a track for free.

Although the app permissions page recognizes my music page I am redirected to CD Baby and told there is no page associated with my FB account. The page is listed and permission granted yet the app doesn’t see the page. Tried for some time to get it to work and frustrated.

This seems to be an issue on Facebook’s end. We’re working with them to get it resolved. Sorry for the hassle.

  • http://members.cdbaby.com CD Baby Admin

Facebook has been having issues over the past couple weeks verifying Pages attached to accounts. (Not just for CD Baby artists, but for anyone trying to manage a Page). I would recommend you try again soon. They may’ve fixed the issue. It doesn’t have to specifically be a band page, but it must be a Page, as opposed to a personal profile.

Since you didn’t upload anything directly to Facebook, and since your song and photo content live within the MusicStore app through a connection to your CD Baby members account, Facebook doesn’t own anything of yours in this case. You retain the right to all your songs.

The page to create/edit my music store does not load properly in Safari or Firefox. The page info squashes to the left of the page so you can’t see the info/make changes.

Hmm. That sounds like a strange glitch. Please email cdbaby@cdbaby.com and we’ll try to help you out from there.

The music store doesn’t work anymore… not only for me, I’ve tried another music store from the comment below… I hope this will be solved soon. Facebook is such a shitty site!
