How to get your music on JOOX:
On the distribution side of things, we will deliver your tracks to Joox Music (also known as JOOX).
Joox is the biggest streaming app in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, and South Africa. The platform enables “social music experiences” via karaoke, live video group chats, and trending short-form videos.
English-speaking artists (especially in the USA) don’t always consider HOW global the music marketplace is today. And that’s a mistake, because services like JOOX can extend the reach of your songs to huge audiences.
Luckily, if you use CD Baby for distribution, you don’t need to do anything extra to be included. We’ll send your songs to Joox automatically.
How to get your tracks into Adaptr:
On the sync licensing side of things, we now work with Adaptr, a powerful music licensing platform.
Adaptr integrates the right music into startup apps so you can reach more ears.
According to a Medium article:
“(Adaptr is) a platform that fosters the growth of innovative new apps by allowing developers to easily and legally integrate music into their experiences on an interactive basis.”
Similar to JOOX, you don’t need to do anything extra to be included for placements via Adaptr. Just make sure to opt into CD Baby’s sync licensing program, included with all our distribution.
