We’re just two weeks away from the inaugural DIY Musician Conference and we’re happy to announce that the event is completely sold out!

Over 1,000 artists from 15 countries and 44 different states will be joining us in Chicago for a very special weekend of sessions and panels geared specifically towards independent musicians who want to take their careers to the next level.

Newly added: free panel on DIY booking, open to all!
For folks who’ll be in the Chicago area during the weekend, we’ve also added a pre-conference event that anyone can attend for free (not just conference attendees).
It’s a panel discussion called DIY Booking and Concert Promotions, hosted by the City of Chicago, Department of Cultural Affairs and Events (DCASE) and the Chicago Music Commission.
The panel will take place between noon and 2pm on Friday, October 23rd at the Chicago Cultural Center on 78 E Washington St. Chicago IL, 60602. Note: this is at a different location from the rest of the conference events. No badges required!

Chris Robley is an acclaimed singer-songwriter and award-winning poet from Maine.
His Beatlesque indie-pop and milltown Americana songs have been praised by The Associated Press, No Depression, KCRW, The LA Times, Boston Globe, NPR, American Songwriter, and others.
His poems have appeared in Poetry Magazine, Prairie Schooner, The Poetry Review, and more.
Robley has received a Maine Literary Award in Poetry, Boulevard’s Emerging Writers Prize for Poetry, and in 2016 was selected by former US-poet laureate Robert Pinsky as a finalist for the Dorset Prize.
