Latin Grammys 2020

Many independent musicians receive 2020 Latin Grammy nominations and wins.

The past few years have seen strong showings from CD Baby artists at the Latin Grammys, and the 2020 Latin Grammys were no different.

This year, thirteen Latin-language CD Baby artists were nominated across eleven categories, along with one song composition.

Five of those nominees claimed the coveted trophy during the ceremony (without an audience or red carpet due to pandemic restrictions) on November 19th.

Join us in celebrating the five CD Baby Latin Grammy winners!

Those numbers are a reflection of CD Baby’s ever-growing artist community worldwide, but especially in Latin-language countries.

Central and South America were the first major regions outside the U.S. to embrace CD Baby’s vision for a stronger independent artist community, and we’ve enjoyed a wonderful relationship with Spanish and Portugese-speaking artists ever since.

We’re truly humbled by the massive success artists in those territories have reached and we’re happy we played a role in their music reaching larger audiences.
