Congrats to 13 CD Baby artists nominated for Latin Grammys in 2020!

Latin Grammys 2020

Many independent musicians receive 2020 Latin Grammy nominations.

The past few years have seen strong showings from CD Baby artists at the Latin Grammys.

In terms of CD Baby representation, 2020 is keeping that momentum going with 13 Latin-language artists and one song composition across eleven categories.

Those numbers are a reflection of CD Baby’s ever-growing artist communities worldwide, but especially in Latin-language countries. Central and South America were the first major regions outside the U.S. to embrace CD Baby’s vision for a stronger independent artist community, and we’ve enjoyed a wonderful burgeoning relationship with Spanish and Portugese-speaking artists ever since.

We’re truly humbled by the massive success artists in those territories have reached and we’re happy we played a role in their music reaching larger audiences.

Join us in celebrating the following CD Baby artists for their Latin Grammy nominations!

Some minor changes to the 2020 Latin Grammy ceremony

The ongoing pandemic has forced some changes as far as presentation to this year’s Latin Grammys ceremony. Instead of a recording in front of a live audience, the 2020 show will be recorded with no (or minimal) audience in Miami on 11/19, with performances from artists being telecast from cities around the world.

To our clients who’ve been nominated, fingers crossed, and break a leg!
