Up until now, Google+ only allowed allowed the users of their popular social media platform to interact as individuals. As of today, if you’re a band, brand, or business, you can sign up for a Google+ Page and start engaging with your fans and promoting your music in new ways.

Head over to Google+ and set up a Page with your band name!

If you’re unfamiliar with Google+, it mimics Facebook in many ways, but there’s one important difference: with Google+, you can create “circles” of friends. Instead of your latest status update going to every single one of your friends, you choose how you want to segment your contacts and can then customize your interactions accordingly. This should have interesting applications for music promotion too.
