Amazon comes out swinging in the cloud-based music wars!
In a surprise move, Amazon just launched a cloud-based storage system for customers that includes a music player accessible on Android phone, Android tablet, Mac or PC,… anywhere! Every Amazon customer starts out with 5GB of free storage for docs, music, pics, etc. Storage upgrades can be purchased at a monthly fee, but customers can also store all Amazon-MP3 purchases to the cloud for free.
An announcement by Amazon CEO and founder Jeff Bezos is shown below:
Sell your music on Amazon, iTunes, Rhapsody, Spotify, CD Baby, and more!
